I know I am late, but I have given a lot of thought to what
I would choose as my “word” for the coming year. There were so many in
contention (1,025,109 in the English language according to Google) so how do I
choose?
I know I could be more patient and more tolerant of others,
but I think I have been steadily working on those two.
My dear quilting friend, Kathryn, with her 90 plus years of
wisdom asked me recently what I was worrying about 1 year ago. I could only think
of one thing that still exists today and this was something I could not change
no matter how much I worried about it.
So my word for 2015 is ACCEPTANCE. I will try to accept the
things that I cannot change and spend the time I was prepared to worry about it
on my quilting. I should get a lot more accomplished this year!!!
Giveway post coming this week! Just have to prepare the scrap bags. Whoop Whoop!
Great word for the year!

Thanks Lori, I'll have to fix the no reply thing.
DeleteI love your choice, and your explanation for the choice. I'm looking forward to sharing in 2015!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dawn, so am I.
DeleteHi Wendy, thanks for dropping by and as always being so sweet. My Jacob's Ladder is all repros and shirtings, I love it but can't decide whether to put a border on it or not.
ReplyDeleteYour word "Acceptance" is so appropriate, when I look at what's going on in the world it's a pity there isn't a lot more of it!!
Happy 2015 and happy quilting! Rowena
I think your chosen word is perfect.
