A while back Randy
(Barrister’s Block) gave me some leftover blocks from one of her red, white and
blue quilts.
To make them fit with other
blocks from my group, I trimmed them up to 6 ½” and made 12” blocks out of
them.
Now I have 6 more to add to
my pile of “veteran’s blocks”! Thanks Randy. There were quite a few blocks at
our last meeting so I plan on whipping up a few tops this weekend. Woohoo!
Enjoy your day!
Randy is as generous as they come, and you put her offering to good use!
ReplyDeleteLook at how quilter's work together.
ReplyDeleteWendy, I LOVE how you used my leftover blocks. It's so great to see them being used so nicely. They would've sat in my orphan block pile being lonely!!! Can't wait to see when it's all done!
ReplyDeleteSo genrous from Randy ! It will be a beautiful quilt Wendy as usual !
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever way to repurpose extra/donated blocks!
ReplyDeleteWow! Another wonderful veteran's quilt in the works! Love the teamwork :)
ReplyDeleteYou're a wonder! these blocks look great. See you next week I hope, even if only for a minute at the show
