I don’t know how it happened
but, for some reason I forgot to link up my Quilty 365 progress on the 1st.
I promise, I have been
faithfully stitching my little circles each morning, I just forgot to post. I started
on November 8 and I now have 12 rows of 18 circles stitched together and rolled
onto these tubes. Such fun!
I wouldn’t feel so badly if I
didn’t realize how much energy it took Audrey (Quilty Folk) to make the linky
party. She has the “summer stress blues” and I feel like I need to support any
quilter who has a temporary loss of their quilting mojo. I hope you all get
some pieceful (and peaceful) time this summer!
By the way, I will be at the Vermont Quilt Festival on Saturday and I hope to get to say hi to a few of my blogging friends!
This is such a great idea. I need to remember this. Having the rows sewn as you go makes the whole process so much more do-able.
ReplyDeleteSuch a clever way to store your rows! : )
ReplyDeleteThe tubes are a great way to store those rows.
ReplyDeleteI envy you getting to go to the quilt festival. Must be oh so enjoyable and a great place to maybe meet some blog friends.
Love your circles Wendy !
ReplyDeleteI wish you will have a funny time at the Vermont festival and will meet lots of friends ! :)
I saw Barbara Brackman's post today about Wendy's potholder stars and I thought it might be you and it is! So happy your potholder quilt won a prize, I've seen it and really enjoyed it! Have fun in Vermont! (Beth F)
ReplyDeleteWay to go Wendy! Love that you have been sewing a circle a day since November :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be there Saturday too! I'll keep an eye out for you. I can't remember, do you have a quilt in the show?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the exhibits this year.
Your colorful little paper tubes all snuggled together. You've been so diligent. I saw Barbara B's post about your stars. Very cool. Have fun at the show.
ReplyDeleteThe rows look great! and congratulations on your prize!
