Peace


Peace is what I wish for everyone this holiday season. Inner peace, the kind that comes from the simple things in life. Counting our blessings, helping a friend in need, sharing a kindness with a complete stranger…

I believe as quilters, we tend to be more understanding and sympathetic. We know the value of time and we appreciate every moment we get to create something of beauty in this world.

So, whatever your faith, whatever you celebrate in this holiday season, I wish you a little more time, a little more joy and some very deep inner peace.

    Have a very merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
    May you be blessed and thank you for your blog. I am a 'newbie' but I feel very grateful to join in.
    Quilting, applique and any textile is my happy safe place as I am disabled and visually impaired. I have my quirky ways to achieve what I want and tell my adorable grand daughters they can do anything and nothing can stop them.
    So thank you again.

    Peace to you, too. My kids (grown) still don't get it when I tell them I just want peace, both inner and outer for Christmas. I get to talk away from work for at least a week and it's nice to be free of the frustration and, sometimes, pettiness.
