If this quilt could talk! As
many of you know Lori (Humble Quilts) hosted another doll quilt swap this
Spring. My little quilt was to come from Italy.
Rina (the maker) e-mailed me
after she sent it and said that it may take a while for it to get here. Three
months later this little gem arrived in my mailbox. I love the quilt and the
thought of how it traveled on its journey from across the Atlantic.
I’m sure Rina was relieved
when she received my e-mail this morning that her little beauty had finally
arrived.

Cute little mini and glad it got to you! This is uncanny because the quilt I made for my swap partner, and mailed 3+ months ago, got to Washington state, and I got an email this morning, which totally made my day!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad this quilt finally arrived. I saw on Humble Quilts Facebook where the one Cynthia sent from Japan finally arrived as well. That must be the standard now--3 months international travel for doll quilts crossing a pond. :)
