When Cynthia (Wabi-Sabi)
quilts suggested to Lori, (Humble Quilts) that I might want to participate in
their round robin sew-a-long, I was so honored to be asked I couldn’t say no!
There will be five of us traveling down this road together and we hope to pick up some hitchhikers along the way.

We will begin with Lori's choice of baskets for the center and then Cynthia will choose the June theme, Cathy will choose July, Katy will choose August and I will choose September's theme.
So please join us in this
wacky Gwen Marston inspired sew-a-long. Gwen’s quilts and books are so
inspirational! This will be a ton of fun!
We will post our progress on June 6. Stay tuned!
Can't wait to see what you come up with~!! Great project!
ReplyDeleteHa! Me too!
DeleteLOVE the meme! : )
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny Janet. I had to look up meme! I had no idea what the term meant. Sheesh! I guess I really do live in the 19th century.
Deletevery fun - i missed the boat but had already started my own medallion - it will be fun to watch yours.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to watching your progress. I adore your center!
DeleteSo glad you are joining in - yay! The meme made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI told Janet, I had to look up the word meme. I guess I need to work on being more "current". I picked out my background fabric last night. I hope to start the basket tonight!
DeleteI have no book from this author but i'm in...for the fun !
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so excited that you are going to start too! You can find Gwen's inspirational quilts all over the internet. I do highly recommend all of her books if you ever see any in France. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

ReplyDeleteWhat fun!!! I saw the note where Lori asked for interested participants and thought it would be a great idea! But this is better than I thought!!! Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet Debra! I hope I can live up to everyone's expectations! I am going to have fun with it for sure!
Deletelove your Dorie poster. Too fun and too true. Looks like you have a fun project ahead.
ReplyDeleteWell I am glad you called it a "poster"! I just learned that those things (with words of wisdom, etc.) are called meme's. We can all start sewing now as we have learned out one thing today!
DeleteAm definitely following along with this.:) Don't know yet if I'll be able to join in but it looks like a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping you would jump in. Your whimsical spirit would be much appreciated!
DeleteHope you still say that after I make the center!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you girls will have lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteI think we will try!
DeleteI definitely like baskets, but I'm like your little photo at the beginning. I'm saying I can't take on another project! LOL
ReplyDeleteI`d like to join in. Hope things fit in so I can.
ReplyDeleteHappy Stitching.
LOL, Wendy, that picture and caption describe me exactly! I am starting late, but I'm starting!
ReplyDeleteI think what you say on here is the best thing. Looking forward for our lives become increasingly more beautiful
