Lucky Me!

Look what the mailman delivered to me on Saturday. Wonderful “leftover” blocks from Randy (Barrister’sBlock). These will make great blocks for upcoming Veteran’s quilts. Thanks Randy!

I did get in a little “Pot Luck” time over the weekend and will post my progress soon.

What do you do with your leftover blocks?

  1. I make mini quilts, BUT I have been known to send one to Randy now and then. *LOL*

  3. Wendy, I am confident that you will make GREAT use of those blocks and half blocks! Can't wait to see.
What you I do with extra blocks? They go into a cabinet called the orphan block holder, waiting for the inspiration to put them together into one quilt!

  4. I have a drawer that I add them too and usually they end up in a doll quilt or scrappy quilt.

  5. I don't usually have too many leftover blocks but if I do, they sometimes work out great as a label on the back of the quilt.
