This block was designed by
Lynne Hagmeier (Kansas Troubles). I love this little block. As I have mentioned
before I could applique circles all day. I did modify it slightly. I wanted to
hand quilt it so I eliminated a few seams. You won’t notice it from a few
hundred feet away and I don’t think Lynne will mind.
Check out all the fun
variations (here).
I like your version of the block very much. And especially that is quilted and bound and ready to attach to blocks beside it.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing that little binding. I'll have something to show soon on my 365 blocks. Thanks again for the encouragement. I'm also using Hobbs Thermore batting, split in half. Wonderful for this technique
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet basket block. Looks so nice hand-quilted :)

ReplyDeleteYou amaze me--this is a wonderful interpretation of the block, and I can't believe how you can get your blocks quilted and bound and I haven't even been able to get one made!
