This is the 5th
time I have participated in Loris (Humble Quilts) mini quilt swap. This is the
one I made for Debby in Washington. I hand pieced and hand quilted the center. Due
to time constraints this month, I machine quilted the rest. I used some of my
favorite early reproduction prints. Love those indigo prints and the border
fabrics are designed by Petra Prins. Once again, all the fabrics in the quilt came from Busy Thimble. Thanks Cyndi!
Here's a picture from Debby after
she received it.
And I am over the moon about the
quilt Louise made for me. It will hang behind my “red” chair in the living room.
I love it!
And, the extra goodies she packed inside are delightful.
Thanks for another great swap
Lori!
Lori (Humble Quilts) will be linking these up in a little while so you can see all of the little gems in one place.

Two gorgeous little quilts! I will need to check out Busy Thimbles for some additional repro fabrics. You used some really lovely ones in your little quilt. You have a perfect setting for your new little red quilt!

ReplyDeleteOh my - thanks again Wendy for the perfect and delightful quilt you made for me in this year's Humble Quilt swap! Ever since I started quilting in earnest I've followed your blog -- what a treat to have your little quilt hanging on my wall!
ReplyDeleteOf course the quilt you made is just fabulous! Love the hexies!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the quilt for your chair ! It's just perfect!
Can't wait to get back to Cyndi's shop in June for some serious retail therapy!! Will we be able to twist your arm to take off work and come with us?? Can't wait to see you soon!
What a perfect swap. The quilt you made just shines. Gorgeous fabrics, and beautiful execution, of course! And the quilt you received seems to have been something you would have commissioned to go on your chair (if you didn't make it yourself). And wonderful little goodies to go along with it.
