July mini

A simple finish for this hot and busy month, “Summer Nines”. I started this in a workshop with Leslie Muir Volpe back in early March. It was the last public function I attended before the Covid 19 restrictions.

Leslie is a spectacular quilter, known for her delightful small quilts. I can’t find a website for her, but if you Google her name you will see lots of wonderful mini quilts.

Take a gander at what my fellow mini makers have come up with in this busy summer month.

I added my friend Cyndi (Busy Thimble) even though hers will eventually be large it is at present a mini and it is sensational. You will want to pay her a visit. And do check back in case we find a few stragglers as I will update as they come in. I know some of you have had trouble with the new Blogger so if you haven't posted this month, I simply linked in the June mini and we can update it later.

Quilting Babcia (Amity Quilter)

I hope you are all staying safe and cool in these hot and crazy times!

  1. What a sweet nine patch. This is the kind of little quilt that looks perfect on a dolly bed as it mirrors a large quilt so well.
    thanks for the links!

    1. I want to thank Dr Emu a very powerful spell caster who help me to bring my husband back to me, few month ago i have a serious problem with my husband, to the extend that he left the house, and he started dating another woman and he stayed with the woman, i tried all i can to bring him back, but all my effort was useless until the day my friend came to my house and i told her every thing that had happened between me and my husband, then she told me of a powerful spell caster who help her when she was in the same problem I then contact Dr Emu and told him every thing and he told me not to worry my self again that my husband will come back to me after he has cast a spell on him, i thought it was a joke, after he had finish casting the spell, he told me that he had just finish casting the spell, to my greatest surprise within 48 hours, my husband really came back begging me to forgive him, if you need his help you can contact him with via email: Emutemple@gmail.com or add him up on his whatsapp +2347012841542 is willing to help any body that need his help.

  10. Such a classic little replica of a bed quilt. I see many of the Floral Gatherings line in your 9-patches. I like the neutral setting square fabric you chose, but that border fabric steals the show. Just lovely, Wendy!

  12. Sometimes people refer to times in history as "pre-something or another". Like "pre-Columbian" to place an artifact in a time frame. Do you think down the road, our quilts will be referred to as "pre-Covid"?

  13. Perfect mini, and the border fabric is lovely (wondering if I don't have some of that in my stash - maybe in a different colorway? I'll have to check)!
I thought and thought about mini inspiration this month, but came up blank. Your idea is perfection - there's nothing better than nine patches and some colorful borders and binding. Maybe that will be my August inspiration!

  17. Thanks for the add, Wendy! Summer Nines is a cute mini - there's just something about nine patch blocks. They are so simple, but play well with so many quilt designs.

  20. I frequently get cold sores(which lasts for 5-6 days on my lips and its painful both physically and mentally) .. As a bodybuilder, I basically get outbreak due to the daily pressure and heat in the body.. Recently I stumbled upon my salvation. I found a herbal remedy to cure hsv completely, in just 4weeks ..

I got to know about Dr Utu after seeing a lady's testimony online. I reached the doctor and I ordered for herpes herbal medicine. He sent the herbs to me and I started making use of them. In just 2days, the cold sores are cleared. 4weeks after medication, I went to the hospital for test of cold sores and it was completely NEGATIVE.

By following every prescription, i was able to cure my cold sore in less than 4weeks. 100% natural herbs no after effect.
Note: Please do let others know if this work for you.
    The doctor's email is drutuherbalcure@gmail.com
Note : follow all instructions accordingly..

If you are sure that you have benefited from this African herbs be courageous to inform others.
    Thanks in advance
