Time Warp update

Here are the last 3 weeks of Time Warp stars. When Barbara started this fun sew a long back in January, I was so gung-ho. I made 2 or 3 each week from the chosen topic that week. This summer I feel lucky if I get 3 done in 3 weeks! No worries, Fall is just around the corner and I'll have lots more quilting time (I hope).

Week 30: Floral trailing vines (one of my favorites!)

Week 31: Toiles (another of my favorites)

Week 32: Faded synthetic dyes. Not one of my favorites, but I think I captured the faded green that is so prevalent late 19th century and early 20th century quilts. I really went crazy with the "think like the 18th century quilter" here.

I am formulating a plan for these little babies, but nothing has materialized yet. Stay tuned. Can't wait to see what others will do. Gladi Porche has made a wonderful little quilt with some of her stars. I just love her colors. And Cynthia (Wabi-Sabi quilts) is planning two different layouts for hers. Check them out and have a great day.

  2. Lovely stars. You always find great fabrics. Thanks for the links to other bloggers who are making stars. It's always nice to see what other Quilter's are pondering.

  7. I love the toile one! Now I have to go pull all of mine and make a star with each! If I can just keep from buying more toiles.....
