I always seem to be one week
behind on my Moda Blockheads blocks. Here is row number 6, quilted, bound and
stitched together.
I really like the appliqued
blocks best. My piecing leaves a lot to be desired. That’s why they make
chocolate and vanilla (thank goodness!).
I had to laugh at your comment about chocolate and vanilla (now I am craving ice cream). When I thought I was going to be doing this SAL (which didn't happen), I told myself I would only do the pieced blocks. I don't do applique. We'd make quite a pair--you doing all the applique, and I would do all of the piecing.
ReplyDeleteAnd just for the record, your piecing looks good to me!
Wished I had started these when they started the program.......the look good.......
ReplyDeleteI'm another who doesn't enjoy applique but 8 out of 48 isn't too bad. The piecing challenges are why I love the project. It's amazing how much my skills have improved from the first blocks to now. And for Chookyblue - People are still joining and the files are all on the Moda Facebook page to save for later.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you're behind - you're ahead becauase yours is quilted already - and beautifully so :0)
ReplyDeleteChocolate can help in most situations! Sweet blocks.
ReplyDeleteLove your colors and fabrics Wendy !!
ReplyDeleteYou are making great progress! The blocks look so nice all stitched together :)

ReplyDeleteAll of your blocks look great to me!
