April Monthly Mini

 Really?? Did I actually think I would be able to get a monthly mini done with all I had on my plate? Time to pick up my fork and dig in! 



 I knew it had to be simple. Luckily, I had made a one of these years ago that I gave away so I already had all of the little 9-patches. Just a little pull from the scrap drawers and voila! It measures 8 1/2" x 10 1/2". Fun!

 


 I’m calling this one, “Second Spring”. We haven’t really had a first yet, but I gave all those little 9-patches a new lease on life so…

 Pick up the trowel and dig around in our fellow mini makers sites for signs of Spring!

    Wish I could come up with something this great when going for "simple". ;)
    Great way to use those extra 9-patch blocks and some little bits of fabric. Wonderful, as always, Wendy. And I like that green binding pulling it all together.

    I love your second spring. The yellows bring such a spark to it. I am still not in mini making mode.... one of these months I will get back to minis!

    Second Spring is spot on for April. Quick, easy, and new life for those nine patches. You could make this design any size. (Note to self) Thank you for always being our hostess with the mostest.

    Love this - reminds me of the Two & Four QAL. I already was pulling scraps for a Rainbow Scrap Challenge block; I may have pulled some more to see if I could create my own version of your mini...
