Guess What?


Do you know what these are were for? As I have said before, I am not much of a cook, but my mother was and she used to make donuts with these cutters all the time. My friend Kathy gave me a few of them years ago and they fit my bobbins perfectly. They also make great templates for circles if you need this exact size!


Last week Audrey of Quilty Folk posted a photo of her quilting room (here). I love to picture where all my blog friends do there quilting. Cynthia of Wabi-Sabi quilts posted her photos (here). I am green for those yellow walls! And Karen of Selvedge Blog posted her studio photos (here). Look at that space!! I have posted photos a few times but most recently after the Christmas clutter phase (here).

    I need something for my bobbins. Those work wonderfully! I like seeing pics of 'real' quilt spaces too. I'd love something larger, but in reality, it's not how large your space is, but what you do in it.:)

    Wonderful aluminum vintage jello ring molds there--have to check to see if mine are the right size for bobbins--so clever! Need to look for pics of my studio--right now it's a disaster (silly me, decided to reorganize it--what was I thinking--stacks of fabric everywhere.)

    What a great bobbin solution! Very cool. Practical and with sentimental value attached too. I clicked on to your sewing room post. Lovely cozy room. Please tell us about your chair (balance ball?) you have by your sewing machine!!

    I love single tools for multiple tasks. My Mom was a hoarder and had multiple tools for single tasks, so I've swung very far to the opposite. When my husband completes my studio in a few weeks, I shall paper the quilty blogosphere with it - LOL.
