Lucky Me!

I was the lucky winner of Audrey’s (Quilty Folk) giveaway on her final Quilty 365 post and linkup. I was so excited to see all the Quilty 365 progress I didn’t even realize she was doing a giveaway. (I have the attention span of a Clown fish) I won a gift certificate to Connecting Threads and these lovely threads and package of needles.
It is kind of eerie, I don’t know how Audrey could have known which 3 colors I needed to fill out my thread box. I guess it really is true that great minds think alike! See the empty spots for just the right colors?

Thanks Audrey – all filled!

  2. I find that incredible that your winnings just filled in your thread box. You have the best selection of threads I've ever seen (outside of a store, of course)... Congratulations!
And I would guess, really, that your attention span exceeds that of a clown fish (about which I know nothing!!).
    Have a great weekend!

  4. Love your thread box! I need something other than a drawer where everything just floats around in and gets very, very messy!

  7. What a fantastic box of DMC threads. I can't get those around here anymore. Perfect for appliqueing or even machine quilting. The needles are ones I got last year from Meg Hawkey from Crabapple Hill. You're going to like those. You had a lovely win.

  8. I like DMC thread. I can't find it locally and have to order online. What kind of thread do you use to stitch the potholders one to another?
