Sajou finish!


Humble Quilts, Sajou sew-a-long - The final round! I had made two center blocks, but decided on the blue and yellow due to the orientation of the fabric in the center. This worked well with some of my favorite fabrics. The yellow surrounding the center block and the red in the border triangle are both French fabrics that I bought in St. Barts in 1993 (yes, I do hoard collect fabric!)

    I love all your vibrant colors! Isn't it great to find a piece of long-hoarded fabric and decide 'this' is the perfect project!

    I love that you know WHERE you bought that fabric! That's my kind of souvenir as well and it's so fun to find the perfect place to use it. Beautiful quilt!

    I am always in awe with your beautiful color combinations and your ablitity to pick and combine fabrics and colors. Those bright clear reds, blues and yellows makes me think of the French Provance. I'm ready to decide about the quilting on mine. I think this finish will be my October mini.
