I just found out both of my
little quilts were accepted into the Road to California Show coming in January.
I just wish I could pack myself into the box with them. Maybe I will get out
there next year!
Happy Hexagons
Pan Blackened Applique (a potholder quilt)
If any of you get to go I
would love to have a photo of you with one of these little guys.
Have a great day.
It's a fun show, and I've seen your quilts there. You should go! It's much larger than some people estimate. Congratulations! Both quilts are beautiful.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! I'm allergic to photos myself, but I'll definitely get pictures of them - without me - for you! (And I guess this means I'd better start practicing my poker face for the judging room...)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your quilts heading to California. I hope you try to go. Both quilts are lovely and will be a beautiful addition to the show. Yay!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I'm so happy that you share your beautiful quilts with others near and far.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I've recently discovered your blog, and love your work. Both quilts are beautiful. With my tablets touchscreen, the details are all quite visible. I adore the potholder quilt!
ReplyDeleteBoth are fabulous! I hope you have an opportunity to travel to California and see them hanging in the show.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little creations, Wendy! Congrats to you on having them accepted into the show!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Love Happy Hexagons especially. Love that your quilts are going to be seen by so many appreciative people!
ReplyDeleteWendy, Both are beautiful but Pan Blackened Applique (the potholder quilt) is stunning! Are your potholder quilts usually 12" per 'potholder' like at New England Quilt Museum? Wish I could go see them but will be skipping Road this year as I'll be on a cruise...
ReplyDeleteBoth of those are stunning. Sadly, I will not be there either but I sure wish I was going to.
ReplyDeletecongratulations! It would be a great show to see in person
