My friend Karen finished this
beauty. You may remember that she was working on the blocks on our annual
retreat in June (here). She couldn’t have chosen a better border to frame these
lovely blocks. You are killing me Karen! Now I want to make one.
Can somebody send me a few
more hours in the day please!
Nice work by your friend...... When you find a few spare hours for the day can you give me some to please...
ReplyDeleteThat is lovely!
ReplyDeleteClean out of spare hours here, Wendy. Sorry! :(
What a great little quilt by Karen!! Adorable...
ReplyDeleteAnd let me know how that goes, finding more hours in the day. I'll join you!!
:-)
ps: how's the cutting mat? I just replaced an old, worn green one with a Martelli and can't wait to start cutting on it!
Ha! That's exactly what I've been whining about, needing more time in the day! Love this sweet little quilt. Such a classic look that never gets old.
ReplyDeleteFamiliar lament if the previous comments are any indication. Worst part is even after you're retired there still isn't enough time to quilt! Wonder how that happened, it wasn't supposed to be that way.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty. I'd make one too if I had more hours in the day. How can we make that happen!
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning quilt !! Your friend is very talented and inspired me a lot !! Thank you for sharing !
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful quilt! Love the triangle sashing. Let me know if you find a way to add a few more hours to your day!
ReplyDeleteKaren's quilt is adorable! If only we could have more hours in the day--imagine what we would accomplish--maybe finishing those UFO's ??
ReplyDeletei hear you wendy! i have lots of free time in the week but could still use more....i'm sewing as fast as i can and i know many others are as well...endless project inspiration is infuriating!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun to see this precious little beauty!
ReplyDeletewow - great scrappy quilt!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can find a genie to grant your wish for a few more hours each day. And send him my way when your wish is granted.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt, I need a few hours too!
ReplyDeleteKaren showed me her top but I did not realize it was so small! Love it! I have more neons for you that I will drop in the mail....some are large enough for backings.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt. I think the large print in border adds lots of interest. If anyone of your readers happens to have more hours to share and you don't need them all, I wish you would send them my way! My biggest complaint these days is how slow I am and/or how fast time goes. Ha!
